My life is about to change...again. Calista is getting married May 22. I am already beginning to miss her. She is a special young lady.
May 28 will be my last day of school for the '09-'10 school year and maybe forever. I found out Thursday afternoon that I will not be re-hired next year. No reason was given per county policy. I was really sad and disappointed. But, I do know Who is in control. I know that "All things work together for those who love the Lord". I also know that I have worked very hard and given it my all. I felt the call to teach in public school and now I have. Many long hours, many long days. At this point I think I will say "good-bye" to teaching. It's been great, but I'm exhausted.
I have sometimes thought that I would rather be poor than tired. Being poor brings out the creativity in me. One of the things I enjoyed the most about living in Cameroon was the lack of things to buy. It caused me to think creatively.
I also look forward to spending more time with my boys. Hey, maybe I'll join a bowling league!
Looking forward and trusting the Lord:)
I am happy to be married...but I also still love out talks!!
